The 20th World Congress of Chinese Medicine & The 5th General Assembly of WFCMS (World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies) took place recently.

Following this congress and the 5th General Assembly on December 12th, Dr. Bernadette Ward of Acupuncture Foundation Ireland was elected to the WFCMS Supervisory Board to continue her work supporting the objectives of WFCMS.

We are saddened to hear of the untimely passing of Professor Jin Huide in Shenzhen, China.

Professor Jin, or Lao Jin, as he was known, originally trained in Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine and taught students at the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland from the late nineteen eighties until recent years.

He was a loved and respected teacher always willing to share his knowledge with students and staff of the Acupuncture Foundation.
