🌟 STAFF APPRECIATION – HANNAH 🌟

Our latest Staff Appreciation Gift goes to the lovely Hannah! 💐

Hannah joined us just over two months ago and has fitted in fantastically with the Smart Start team.

Hannah completed her Level 5 qualification in Childcare at DIFE College and has already shown what a capable and caring educator she is. She has a great awareness of what’s happening around her, is always willing to lend a hand, and most importantly, she genuinely loves spending time with the children — helping, guiding and teaching them along the way. ❤️

Well done, Hannah! We’re delighted to have you as part of our team and you are a great asset to Smart Start. 🌟👏

Very well deserved! 💐

🌟 STAFF APPRECIATION – MICHELLE 🌟

Our latest staff appreciation goes to the lovely Michelle! 💛

Michelle joined us here at Smart Start at the beginning of September and has already proven to be a fantastic addition to our team.

Michelle works in our ECCE room alongside our Room Leader, Paula, and we have received wonderful feedback from Paula about how well Michelle has settled in and the fantastic job she is doing with the children.

It’s always lovely to see new team members settle in so well and become such a positive part of Smart Start.

👏 Well done, Michelle — keep up the fantastic work!

And a big well done to Paula too for her continued support and leadership within the room. 💛

We’re delighted to have you as part of the Smart Start team.

Today was a bittersweet day at Smart Start as we said goodbye to the wonderful Aileen, who is moving on to pastures new and beginning an exciting role teaching in a primary school.

We wish Aileen every happiness and success in this next chapter. She will be terribly missed by everyone at Smart Start Playschool, but we are sure we haven’t seen the last of her!

To make her final day extra special, Aileen received the Golden Goose — Get Out of School Early and got to finish early with full pay. This is a new staff incentive we have introduced to recognise and reward our wonderful team.

Best of luck, Aileen! Thank you for everything—you will always be part of the Smart Start family. 💛🪿

Last week, we took a moment to show our appreciation for another wonderful member of our team — Rukiya.

Rukiya joined Smart Start Playschool a few months ago, and in that short time, she has shown herself to be an incredibly kind and caring person. Her warmth extends not only to the children, but also to her colleagues and it has become very clear that she looks after and mothers the entire team!

Rukiya is a fantastic addition to Smart Start, and we are absolutely delighted to have her with us.

Rukiya, we appreciate you and all that you do. We truly love having you as part of our team. 💛

What a fantastic start we had to the new ECCE year! 🌟

We welcomed lots of new children, and they all had a lovely first day. Understandably, a few little ones were a little upset, but they received plenty of cuddles, comfort and reassurance from their teachers.

We’re so proud of how well everyone did, and we’re really looking forward to a happy and exciting school year ahead! 💛
