Happy Days Playschool Dromiskin are Hiring for the below position

Childcare Room Leader required to work mornings 4 hours per day, 5 days per week in ECCE service with a knowledge of Aistear and Siolta.
Minimum requirement of Fetac level 6 in childcare required. Experience in childcare necessary. Candidates will need to be a good team member with a positive personality, good organisational skills and the ability to work on their own initiative.

A huge thank you to everybody who donated to our coffee morning last week in aid of our new sensory room. We have been blown away by the support and generosity shown. A sincere thanks to Joanne Kelly and Susan Byrne who organised the entire event. We are so grateful for your amazing support.

The fundraiser raised over €3034 and counting. We cannot wait to add to our sensory room which will be a huge benefit to all the children.

Everyone is applauding everyone but our kids!! These little heroes have stayed indoors more than they’ve ever known in their lives. Their whole little worlds have literally been turned upside down. All these rules they’ve never known. A life they couldn’t have imagined. Adults talking about others becoming unwell, news reporting death after death. Our poor babies minds must be racing. Every day they get up and carry on despite all that’s going on and all they’ve done is paint pictures and put stuff in their windows for the “heroes” out in the world. So here’s to our little heroes, today, tomorrow, forever ❤️

🌿 ❄️🍂 ❄️ 🌷 Toys/Nature in Ice 🌿 ❄️🍂 ❄️ 🌷

This activity is guaranteed to bring your little ones plenty of fun as they try to figure out ways to get the toy/leaves from the ice. Freeze toys or flowers/leaves in a container overnight, it takes at least 12 hours to freeze right through.

Allow your child to come up with their ideas on how they can get the toys/leaves from the ice. Offer ideas near the end by exploring less obvious ways such as using salt or warm water - or maybe some of our Happy Days kids will remember these solutions! Please feel free to share photos.
