Established in 1993 Playmates Montessori School offers the Montessori curriculum approach, combining the Aistear guidelines and principles, with the Montessori method. Combining these methodologies ensures we provide a curriculum that is child centred, play based and allows the children to actively pursue their own learning


We at Playmates Montessori School pride ourselves in providing a programme, curriculum and education environment where each child is welcomed and included on equal terms, can feel they belong, and can progress to his/her full potential in all areas of development. We have engaged with AIM – The Access and Inclusion Model (AIM) is a programme of supports designed to ensure that children with disabilities can access the Early Childhood Care and Education Programme in mainstream pre-school settings and can participate fully in the pre-school curriculum alongside their peers.
