Congratulations to all the young artists who received prizes and have their artwork displayed in the Highlanes Gallery’s, Young Creatives Art competition and exhibition.

Well done to all our students who created art for the competition, those who were not selected should be very proud of themselves and their work also. You can collect unselected artwork from the gallery from today, Tuesday 18th until Saturday 29th of August.

I’m really looking forward to seeing the exhibition!

Thank you to everyone who came to class today and all throughout the Summer. I am now on holiday.. so there’s no classes Saturday 22nd or Saturday 29th. We are back on Saturday 5th of September. Students created these fun and simple mono printed dragons today- well done everyone 👏

This Saturday is our final class before we take a two week break - we will then resume on Saturday 5th of September. All classes are €10 pay as you go / drop in / no booking and no terms. Last Saturday we were printing with Mala and textures we could find around us. Artwork by Elliot, Lily and Robyn

Thank you to everyone who came to our 3rd and final Summer Camp of the year! We had a busy four days and lots of beautiful art and friendships were made. A big thank you to Emily for all her help and congratulations on getting accepted into NCAD! Our drop in Saturday classes are running as normal tomorrow! Today’s Art Camp snake sssculptures 🐍 Our morning group made colourful, slithering snakes with beautiful patterns and sparkly tongues and our afternoon group used plaster of paris for their sculptures. Everyone worked really hard - WELL DONE! Tomorrow will be a more chill day, we’ll be painting T- shirts and tote bags, remember to wear art clothes!

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow for Art Camp! A reminder that the morning group is 10.30-1pm and afternoon group is 2-4pm. Please bring a snack and wear art clothes, especially on Thursday as we’ll be using fabric paints. These amazing migrating ducks were painted by Agata at our previous pond themed Art Camp

Saturday drop in art classes are as normal tomorrow, 1st of August and for the following two weeks, Saturday 8th and 15th. There will be no classes on Saturday 22nd and 29th. We will then resume on September 5th. Gorgeous frog artwork made by Billy last Saturday.
