🐯 OUR LATEST AQUISITION 🐯

Last week Tigers Childcare closed a deal to acquire Hopscotch Creche & Montessori- a childcare provider based in Bettystown, Co Meath which can cater for up to 140 Children and has a team of 25 Colleagues.

We are delighted to have this service added to our Family, bringing the total number of locations under the Tigers Childcare Umbrella to 19 Early Childhood Education and Care and School Age Services at Locations in Cork, Dublin , Meath, Kildare & London

Just a reminder we will be closed for Summer break from Monday 24th July and reopen on Tuesday 8th August.

We celebrated the last day of Preschool with fancy dress and pizza and ice cream party. A very emotional and exciting day for the staff and the children 😢
We are so proud of all the boys and girls and wish the children going to school the very best of luck , and to the children returning to Preschool we hope you have a lovely Summer break . A big thank you to the parents for their continued support throughout the year 🤗💗

⭐️⭐️Healthy Ireland Smart Start (HISS) Programme⭐️⭐️
We are delighted to share the exciting news that Hopscotch has been validated as a Healthy Ireland Early Learning and Care Service receiving awards in both the Birth – 3yrs and Preschool categories. A representative group travelled to Athlone for the award ceremony on Saturday 12th of June where we were also honoured to be one of the few services selected to showcase on the day.
The HISS programme has been developed by HSE Health and Wellbeing and The National Childhood Network and is supported by the DCECIY. The programme requires staff to attend training, implement and embed the principles of the programme into daily practice and provision over time and compile a portfolio showing significant evidence of how the outcomes for each area of the programme have been met. Services are assessed under the 5 Areas of
• Health Promotion
• Emotional Wellbeing
• Physical Activity
• Nutrition
• Oral Health
These awards could not have been achieved without the invaluable support of our children and families and the commitment of every staff member in Hopscotch regardless of their role, as being a Healthy Ireland Early Learning and Care Service requires a team effort.👏👏
