🌈 Welcome Back to Daisychain! 🌈

As we prepare to welcome our little friends back—and meet some new ones—we know that returning to crèche can bring lots of different feelings. Some children may run in excitedly, while others may need a little more time and reassurance. Both are completely normal. 💛

Here are a few simple ways to make settling in a little easier:

🌼 Talk positively about returning to crèche and remind your child about their teachers, friends and favourite activities.

🌼 Return to your usual bedtime and morning routine before their first day.

🌼 Prepare clothes, bags and lunches the night before to help keep mornings calm.

🌼 Keep goodbyes warm, confident and brief. A familiar goodbye routine—such as a hug, a kiss and “I’ll see you later”—can be very reassuring.

🌼 Let your child bring a small comfort item if they need one.

🌼 Try not to worry if your child becomes upset at the door. Children often settle very quickly once they begin playing and become involved in the day.

Please share with us anything that may help your child settle, including their current interests, favourite activities or any changes at home. We are always here to listen and work together with you.

We cannot wait to welcome everyone back, hear about their summer adventures and begin another wonderful year of playing, learning and growing together! 🌻

🌈 A New Year at Daisychain is Almost Here! 🌈

The rooms are getting ready, the shelves are being prepared, and we’re counting down the days until Daisychain is filled with little voices, busy hands and happy faces again! 💛

We are so excited to welcome back all of our familiar friends and, of course, to meet all the new children and families joining our Daisychain family this year. 🌼

Starting a new crèche or preschool year is a big adventure — new rooms to explore, new friendships to make, new teachers to get to know and so many new experiences ahead. For some of our little ones, this will be their very first step into crèche or preschool, and we feel very lucky to be part of such an important milestone. 🥰

Our team has been busy preparing welcoming spaces and lots of opportunities to play, explore, discover and learn together.

Here’s to a new year full of friendships, curiosity, messy play, laughter, learning and lots of wonderful memories! ✨

We simply cannot wait to see you all! ❤️🌼
