Best of luck to Katie Taylor this weekend. We remember fondly when Katie visited ABACAS ten years ago. She was so friendly and interested in all the children and the school and so generous with her time . Enjoy your homecoming Katie, a true champion .

We are so grateful for the support from Tesco Ireland and the whole of our community including parents, staff, families, neighbours, volunteers, business and individual fundraising, DEY and HSE and the many others who have supported us over the years and of course the ongoing local community support in Drogheda. It was lovely to be able to highlight some of this support in this article.

Abacas School for Autistic Children with Complex Needs in Drogheda has received huge support from the Tesco Community Fund, changing lives for autistic children

Special thanks to SportUile and Meath Local Sports Partnership for supporting our summer and July provision camps through offering a variety of activities.

Children and young people had plenty of opportunity to try new movement and sports disciplines and activities, such as Zumba, Table tennis, Kayaking and Paddleboard.
They also supported implementation of Inclusive Learning to cycle programme.

We look forward to collaborating with you in the near future.
