Well done to our Leaving Cert class of 2026 on their wonderful results in this years Leaving Certificate Exams. There were excellent results across the board, including 7 Distinctions in LCA, 6 students achieved over 600 points, with one student getting 625 points.
We are very proud of you and wish you all the best with your next endeavours. And remember, once a Greenhills girl, always a Greenhills girl!

On Friday last we celebrated the TY class of 2026 at their Graduation Mass and ceremony 👩‍🎓✨
All TY students were presented with their certificates in recognition of their participation, achievements, and commitment throughout the year. 👏🏼
It was truly a wonderful and moving ceremony, one which the Transition Year students and teachers will never forget as we said a big thank you and farewell to Ms. McGorry, TY Coordinator for over 30 years here in Greenhills who has poured her heart and soul into the programme everyday 💚🩵
We wish all our TY students every success and happiness as they begin 5th Year. We are confident that they will carry forward the valuable lessons they have learned, the experiences they have gained, and the friendships they have formed throughout Transition Year as they continue their journey into Senior Cycle. ☺️

'During the Easter holidays, I completed a course titled Digital Wellbeing: A New Challenge for Teachers and Students at Europass Academy in Rome. The course focused on finding a healthy balance in how we use technology in our daily lives.

We explored how our online habits can affect our wellbeing — both positively and negatively — and discussed ways to promote healthier digital practices for ourselves and for our students. We also examined how many apps and platforms are intentionally designed to capture our attention, encourage us to stay online longer, and target us with ads and paid content while collecting data with every click.

While digital devices help us complete tasks, access information, and stay connected, they can also chip away at our time and focus, leaving us feeling drained or overwhelmed. Throughout the course, we were given practical challenges and activities that can also be used with students.

The overall emphasis was on empowering students to take control of their technology use, make mindful choices, and manage their digital lives so that technology remains balanced, positive, and enriching.'

🌍🌟🏆Water Ambassador Team of the Year 🌍🌟🏆Congratulations to our Water Ambassador Team, The Ripple Effect, who were invited to present at Wood Quay venue in Dublin in recognition of their outstanding work in water conservation and environmental advocacy this year. 🌍💧
The team delivered an exceptional presentation to an audience of schools from across the country, showcasing their dedication, innovation and passion for raising awareness about water conservation.
Their incredible efforts were deservedly recognised when they were awarded Water Ambassador Team of the Year 👏🏆🌟
We are immensely proud of these inspiring young women and all they have achieved!

Our first year GAA team finished off their season today with a narrow defeat to Marist in Dundalk IT today in the semi final of the Sonia Hoey Cup. After finishing second in their group, they headed to the finals day in Dundalk brimming with confidence. A solid showing in our recent OLC blitz, which we hosted and involved 13 other post primary schools, saw us also bow out at the semi final stage. It was heartbreak once again for our girls, despite a strong second half performance. Best for Greenhills today were Anna Wolanin, Muireann McGuinness, Noinin Flood and Arina Kryvonos.
