Today is 'Coastal CleanUp Day" 🌅

Coasts & Beaches all over the world act as a mirror of our poluted oceans. We can improve that! With each of us reducing our waste production & being more aware of reusing, and recyling our things! For now, every time we are visiting the beach, we can pick up some rubbish, and recyle or dispose it propperly.

🌱Are you between the age of 18 and 29, currently unemployed and not in any other training!?

FOLM (From Outdoors to Labour Market) welcomes people from all backgrounds and offers you a chance to get out into nature. We will teach you survival skills, including how use a compass, pitch a tent, how to start a fire, and even cook your own food in the wilderness. Along the way you will learn to work as part of a team and set life goals which are important to you.

We are so excited to welcome our new FOLM group in Limerick today. The participants will begin their adventure with a 5-day outdoor learning experience.

The group will learn new skills such as foraging, how to set up a campfire, and pitch a tent. They will also plan and work towards achieving their own personal goals in a friendly and fun environment. Don’t worry if you missed out on this group, we still have more upcoming groups with a few spaces to fill.

Today is the start of HER Outdoors Week. It is an opportunity for women of all ages, abilities and fitness levels to get into the outdoors and perhaps try something new.

While our FOLM course invites everyone to join, this week we especially celebrate our past, present, and future women who participate in FOLM.

Today we are recognising women’s empowerment in outdoor activities by inviting you to join us on our outdoor course where you will learn survival skills, set goals, work as part of a team, and most importantly have lots of fun.

FOLM is a course with a difference! We bring learning into the outdoors. Along the way you will learn practical skills such as how to start a campfire, forage for food and pitch a tent.

You will discover and improve your interpersonal skills. We will teach you the skills you need to move towards your own personal goals and help you discover what you really want to do in life. We run courses in various locations throughout Ireland for 18-29 year olds.
