It's safe to say that the biggest hit at our summer camps these past few weeks was the Harp! 😍🪉 We are the only country in the world that has a musical instrument as it's national symbol and represents the nation's rich tradition of music, poetry, and sovereignty!

We are delighted to announce that we will be running music summer camps this July at Born to Strum Music Academy! ☀️🌤️🌈

Attendees will get a chance to showcase their skills, as well as learn new ones, with a variety of instruments on offer to try! Play music related games, learn to play in a group environment and connect with other budding musicians of the same age. 😁😁😁

If you've been thinking of getting your child into music for the first time but are not sure what instrument they should play, this is the perfect opportunity to get to try out many and see what our music academy has to offer! 🎹🎼🥁🎻🪉🎸

We are delighted to now be offering Harp Lessons at Born to Strum Music Academy!!!

The Harp, Ireland's national emblum, is the only national emblum in the world that is a musical instrument 🇮🇪

The harp has been central to Irish life for over a millennium, with its image appearing on 8th-century stone crosses and in some of Ireland’s earliest manuscripts.

In medieval Gaelic society, harpists were highly prestigious, often second only to poets. They were so valued that their fingernails, used to pluck the wire strings, were protected under Brehon Law.
