Mí na Bealtaine i Suaimhneas 🌈

The children in Múinteoir Sinéad’s and Muinteoir Marisa’s classes have had a great few weeks at school.

We’ve had work time, horse riding, walks in the woods, reverse integration, mainstream class work, swimming, necklace making, painting, water play, fun on the scooters and trikes and …Petal the goat came to visit us thanks to Cathal Crowe 🐐

Ollie also turned 10, Will received his graduation hoodie, and Elaine & Laura our SNAs celebrated birthdays 🎈

Thanks also to Múinteoir Eva who spent 2 weeks with us on teacher placement 😊

Bhí lá iontach cois trá ag Múinteoir Ruaidhrí agus a rang.
Míle Buíochas do Carmel, Aaron agus Donna.
The children had a fabulous day collecting many many species on Quilty Beach.
Through the eyes of an expert like Carmel T Madigan , the creatures of the rocky shore were unveiled.
What a magnificent day. Thanks to the Heritage council for supporting these days.

6th class had a fantastic day today on school tour! We travelled to the Burren Outdoor Education Centre where we enjoyed a brilliant experience caving through the limestone rock and kayaking close to Bell Harbour. We rounded off the day with a well deserved meal in the Banner Plaza. Everyone will sleep well tonight! Thanks to all the guides in the BOEC and to Príomhoide Susan for coming with us too.

Bhí seachtain an gnóthach againn i rang a dó.
We had a busy week.
We posted our manuscripts of our Class Book to the publishers. It will be simply magnificent when it arrives.
We had a pygmy kid goat in our class- thanks to the Crowe family.
We blew enormous bubbles in the yard and we did a fabulous clean up.
And in the midst of that we enjoyed sunshine and blue skies.
Nach bhfuil an t-adh linn.
Is aoibheann beatha an scoiláire.

Well done to our amazing camogie team who are through to the finals in Cusack Park🔵⚪️We are extremely proud of you all

Ceapairí tósta ar Scoil sa Club Cócaireacht.
Over the last 2 years 5 classes of students have attended our Bake Club and it has been wonderful.
No excuses for not feeding themselves now.
Today’s toasties went down a treat.
The real benefit has been all of the children who have tried and tasted new foods.
Maith sibh go léir.
