Lap of the Lake, taking place on Saturday, 16 May. It’s a brilliant community event that raises vital funds to support the volunteer lifeboat crew who are on call year‑round.
Key details:
• Two route options: a full 120km circuit of Lough Derg or a shorter 65km route • Stunning scenery across Tipperary, Clare and Galway, including a short challenge up Portroe Hill • Fully supported event with first aid, marshals, out‑riders, bike maintenance stops and refreshment stations • Finish at Lough Derg Yacht Club with food, drinks and a warm welcome for cyclists and supporters • Registration includes a goody bag: €65 for 120km and €50 for 65km • Follow the Eventbrite link to register:
