Today, we were so lucky to have Cork City Fire Brigade call to see us! The firemen let every child into the cab of the truck, radio to the control room to say hi and use the hoses to knock water bottles off a traffic cone. What great fun it was! We also did our June fire drill 😊

Our book this month is “The Tiger who came to tea” by Judith Kerr. The children drew drawings for the tiger asking him would he call to see us at preschool 🥰🐯 We were very surprised and happy when he called to see us! The children were delighted and all had their photo taken with him, they gave him a high five when he was leaving. Just like the story, we had cupcakes he brought and we ate them all in one big mouthful 😂
