FIÚNTAS CHILDREN’S ART CAMP (Samhradh 2014)

Meet Louise and Emily! We are two qualified Art Teachers who will run a series of Children’s Summer Art Camps at Kinsale Pottery and Art School in July and August 2014. In order to instill a deeper love of the Irish language in our young students, we bring the language to life by introducing children to art and craft activities with an emphasis on using

Irish words and phrases. Children will go home each day with a number of these new words and phrases which will then be added to their individually hand made foclóir

Age-groups: 6 -12 years
Four day Fiúntas camp (Wednesdays off)
Dates 2014:
1st Week : 7, 8, 10 & 11 July
2nd Week : 28, 29, 31 July & 1 August
Times
Each camp comprises of two daily sessions:
10.00-12.30 and 1.30-4.00pm. You can choose to send your child to half day, morning
or afternoon sessions, or both sessions (full day). Prices
€144 for 4 full days (bring a packed lunch)
€100 for 4 half-days
(Sibling discounts - €124 and €90). Other Discounts
Should you wish to return for a second camp there will be a €10 discount.

"Here come the girls!!! " -This week I taught on a fantastic course run by Adrian Wistreich of Kinsale Pottery. We had an all girl group between the ages of 4-9. (We scared away all the boys..with the exception of Adrian!) We had so much fun creating beautiful pinch pots, Van Gogh inspired still lifes,Cardboard aquariums, Mysterious clay creatures, Klimt inspired golden collages, Cartoon my little ponies and ceramic plaques for our bedroom door and walls. Check out all the work masterpieces we created!!
