Well done to the final year students taking the Brand Management module who were shortlisted to present their findings of their live assignment, in conjunction with Cork City Council, at Cork City Hall recently. In the assignment students had been tasked with setting out a branding strategy for one of the following three projects that Cork City Council are currently working on:
1. The Victorian Quarter
2. The City Centre as a whole
3. The ‘Old Town’ – North Main Street and Surrounding Areas
The five groups that presented at City Hall were shortlisted from thirty-three groups who had taken the module by lecturer Conor Kelleher and tutor Tim Crowley. In turn, Paul McGuirk and Catherine Casey of the Strategic Planning & Economic Development unit at Cork City Council decided the overall winners to be the group made up of: Aine Ahern, Saoirse O Riordan, Stephen Goggin and Megan Webb. Thanks very much to Paul and Catherine for the commitment and enthusiasm they showed for this live assignment over the past number of months. Cork Institute of Technology - CIT
