Three Countries Tour - Days 3 and 4 🇩🇪🇳🇱🇧🇪
On Tuesday, the group travelled to their second country - The Netherlands. The first stop was the World War 2 American Cemetary and Visitor Centre, which was a moving experience, and everyone was impressed by the beautiful grounds and setting of the cemetary.
The group then travelled to the picturesque town of Valkenburg, where they had the opportunity to explore, shop and have lunch. 🛍 🏰 🍽
The next activity when down a treat - once we arrived at the location for laser tag and bounce, everyone first was able to enjoy a chair lift ride to the very top of the hill, where everyone enjoyed an ice-cream or slushie!
The cave where laser tag and bounce took place was a welcome break for the heat, and a sense of healthy competition was clear!
After staying in Brussels for the night, the group enjoyed an informative trip to the European Parliament's House of European History, before heading to the airport to travel back to Cork.
Well done to our 2nd Years, and to the sense of positivity and kindness that was seen on the trip, and a big thank you to tour leader Ms O' Carroll, and to all teachers on the tour.
Ní neart go cur le chéile!

The award was presented at a special ceremony in Fota Island Resort on Tuesday, marking a proud milestone for the school. This theme is a great way of encouraging a sense of personal pride and responsibility in tackling visible issues within the school environment.

Last week at our Sixth Year Graduation Ceremony, we marked a very special moment in our school community. 💕
Our outgoing Head Girls, Claragh, Leah and Saorla, proudly presented Fifth Year students Maebh, Jemma and Hannah with their new black jumpers, officially welcoming them as our Head Girls for the 2026–2027 school year.
This meaningful tradition symbolises leadership, responsibility and the continuation of strong student voice within our school. We have no doubt that Maebh, Jemma and Hannah will embrace the role with enthusiasm, dedication and pride.
We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Claragh, Leah and Saorla. You have been phenomenal ambassadors for our school this year, leading with integrity, warmth and commitment. You leave behind a wonderful legacy, and while there are certainly big shoes to fill, we know the incoming Head Girls are more than ready for the challenge. 🌟
Wishing both our outgoing and incoming leaders every success for the future!
