Happy International Day of Play. To quote Maria Montessori “Play is the work of the child”. So much learning and development comes through play.
Here’s a little throwback to our fun in the sun during the mini heatwave and our school tour to Tir na Si a few weeks ago.

Another busy few weeks at Aim High Montessori. Some of the main highlights were Valentine’s Day, Chinese New Year, Pancake Tuesday but I think the main highlight has to be pyjama day today. The excitement for today has been building for a while! Here’s a little snippet of some of our activities.

Road safety week finished today with Beep Beep day. We were delighted to have Caroline Casey the road safety officer with Cork County council visit today and join us on our walk to the pedestrian crossing on the Main Street. After lunch we did a stroll around the estate so lots of practise done on what we learned about road safety during the week.

We’ve had a lovely few weeks getting to know the new children and catching up with last years children. Everyone has settled so well into the new school year. Here’s a little snippet of some of the fun we’ve had.
I hope all the children who started primary school are settling well too.
