Ogham Seminar in Lismore Heritage Centre Saturday, May 16th

The ogham alphabet is the earliest form of writing in the Irish language. Ogham inscriptions were carved on stones mainly between AD500 and AD600 and over 50 Ogham stones are known from Waterford. Find out more about our Ogham Heritage including the conservation and recording of the Ogham tradition at this half day seminar in Lismore on May 16th.
