Audition.

When you get an audition. When you get an audition that you read. When you get an audition that you read again and start to love. When you delve into that script, the lines, the punctuation, the character and the moment you then decide you adore it. You get to work. You prep, then prep again, then a whole lot more. The day arrives. The audition. The moment. All of that work, let it be seen, but not before "throwing it away" and having fun. Letting the organic nature of the character shine though and become an entity. Have fun and play. Today was that day. Today it was fun. Elevating beyond the mundane into levels of ecstasy that only your passion can bring. Regardless of the choice of casting process, a little bit of art played with today, my awesome reader, me and our camera crew. That too is the magic, big and small screens, a beautiful bonus, an icing honour. To be continued..

Tmrw I will be attempting to become Taylor Swift in The Intercontinental Hotel Ballsbridge, a Lip Sync Battle of the Stars Event! Straight after that I'll be going on the Ray Darcy Show (10.30pm-11.30pm) on RTÉ1 to do another version of it! Nervous does not even come close. Petrified.. maybe. All funds go to Breast Cancer Ireland for research & awareness.
