Looking forward to the weekend

Fancy making a quilt like this? This is just one of many possibilities. Patchwork classes are starting back in Aghada Community Centre this week 11th/12th January.
The classes run for 10 weeks and are suitable for beginners or experienced sewers. I run three different classes a week.
1. Thursday morning from 10 to 1
2. Thursday evening from 7 to 10
3. Friday morning from 10 to 1.

I had a dear friend Mary use her talent to make this fab picture story to give to Conor to mark our 30th wedding anniversary! Heres to the next 30years. He loved it.

Love seeing all the lovely handcrafted Christmas decorations made lovingly over the years by friends, family, fellow crafters and myself!

Sorcha graduated on Friday in electronic engineering . Had a great day celebrating in the sunshine with friends and family

Relaxing on the royal canal and enjoying the wildlife!

Added my shibori pieces to the indigo dye bath. Love watching the change in colour. Middle picture shows the final colour. Going to leave them to dry and if I want them darker will dip them again. Love the element of surprise!

Variegated King Tut threads have just arrived, create lovely quilting effects. I love using them on colourful quilts.
