BOJAN ON BABY WEIGHT !! πŸ£πŸ‘Ά
I don't have to tell all the Mommas out there that having babies is all worth it in the end . HOWEVER the baby weight seems to STICK to our bodies and we need a strategy to take it off healthily and quickly . Here's my husband Bojans plan to remove it !!
- Do 4-5 5km (3.1 miles ) walks or runs in a week
- 20 minutes weights before of after at least 3 of those workouts
- eat no bread at breakfast (just cereal and fruits )
- have the bread at lunch
- no carbs after 7pm
- consume at least 2 Lt. of water per day
- no soda diet or otherwise
- eat healthily 80% of the time and have 20% naughtiness !
- drink hot water and lemon after every meal
- Make sure to get 6-7 hours of rest at night ( this is tough with a newborn I know !)

How to make the perfect salad !! 🍴 easy πŸ’›Aish

Interesting ..this happens to me all the time !! I won't cut back on my spinach but I will squeez lemon on top ! πŸ‹

Do you ever eat a fresh spinach salad and find your teeth feeling strange and chalky? You're not alone. "Spinach teeth" is caused by the high quantities of oxalic acid found in spinach. The oxalate crystals leak out from spinach as you chew, and these crystals coat the teeth, which results in that gritty feeling.

And it doesn't just come from spinach! Rhubarb, beets, kale, and chocolate are high in oxalic acid as well. Beyond that strange dental sensation, this acid increase your risk of oxalate stones in the kidneys, so people with a predisposition for such issues should steer clear of eating large amounts of spinach.

The oxalic acid contained in spinach can also prevent your body from absorbing iron. To improve iron absorption, spinach should be eaten with foods that contain vitamin C. So the next time you're chowing down on some cooked spinach, be sure to squeeze a little fresh lemon on top!

Here's how :
-1x cup of frozen strawberries( frozen are better for smoothies , they make it more 'ice creamy '

-1/2 teaspoon of butter extract ( this can be found In the baking section of the supermarket ) vanilla can be used instead if you cannot find butter extract .

EXPRESS LUNCH !! πŸ‘–πŸ‘™
One of the most common excuses I hear (and have used!) is 'I don't have time to eat healthy' . I just made this healthy filing lunch in 3 minutes !! Less time than it takes to eat junk foods!! We need to be good to ourselves and eat foods that keep us in a good mood , healthy and full πŸ’›Aish
Here's how
- 2 slices of yeast free bread (mccambridge is my fave)
- spread with light mayo
- apply two tablespoons of tuna salad ( tuna . Spring onions and light mayo mixed together )
- add lettuce
- wash and chop cucumber slices on the side ( instead of crisps )
- 1 x Choco rice cake on the side for desert !
