As we close out the and head into a well-deserved short break, we want to acknowledge the contribution of two organisations who have stepped up hugely this year to support our on the next steps in their .

Talos Engineered Products LLC provided to 4 of our students. This is their first year giving but they have been a strong partner of ours for a while now in so many ways and we are so .

Springboard Communications continued their with the again this year by providing a for another one of our students. We so appreciate this relationship which makes a real every year.

While our young perople are with us, we do everything we can do support them on their journey. But it's organisations like and that provide the platform for them to leap into the next phase.

It was a to welcome one of our newest Denis O Donovan last Friday. Denis O Donovan and are the kind of contributors who come along every now and then and ask "What do you need?". And then, they . And then, they and .

We are so grateful to them for their efforts on our behalf and their with from SHARPTEXT CORK LTD which resulted in the donation of two fab 75" interactive screens for our two biggest classrooms in . Daragh's team installed them recently and they will make a huge difference to our students' .

And just like that ... they're done!!!! Our very last Leaving Cert exam has just finished! The candles are out and the house is empty. Our Junior Cert students are since last Friday and now all of our Leaving Certs are free for the summer.

We remind all our once again that the for which they've spent the last few weeks sitting in front of a desk is not what defines them. What defines them is their and in getting up and getting in here every day, and climbing over whatever stood in their way and like the we've always known them to be.

We pulled off another first this year - we held a barbecue in the for our to their with us. We wanted to mark their final chapter in a special way with just them and the staff who have walked alongside them since they first came through the . We had the loveliest time before they went "out out" for the evening.

As you know, we have been honoured by Cork City Council and our , Fergal Dennehy as one of the charities to benefit from tonight's in the beautiful Cork's Vienna Woods Hotel & Holiday Homes.

To maximise the funds raised, there will also be a raffle tonight.

We are thrilled to announce that O'Mahony Craft Cooperage have donated a gorgeous, , 1.5 litre to help raise funds. Made in by a former student of , this barrel is not just a display piece; it is a fully-functioning home maturation barrel that will allow the to age their favourite spirits and w**e at home.
