Skills Session: Living and Working in China with East Asian Tea Reception

Interested in living and working in China? We are re-opening recruitment for 2024 and would be delighted to receive applications from final-year students at University College Cork for placements in Chinese schools from September 2024 to June 2025. Please come to our 'Opportunities in China' session to find out more and learn useful skills. The session is open to anyone who is curious about East Asia.

10 a.m. Skills Session on Living and Working in China
 Chinese etiquette, dos and don'ts
 Kick-start your Mandarin (5 minutes)
 Advice on graduate placements in Chinese schools
 Overview of the procedure for preparing to work legally in China

Step 1: Go to Careers Services online ( Link in Bio).

Step 2: If you are a current student please log in with your current student details.
If you are a Post Graduate student up to one year after Graduation, please select "Recent Graduate Login".

Step 3: When you have logged in there will be a couple of icons at the top of your screen. Select "Appointments" with a 🤝 symbol.

Step 4: Next you will come to a page with a list of your previous appointments (if applies). There will be a small blue box near to the top which says "+Book Appointments" click this.

Step 5: Next you will be brought to a page with "in person" or "Microsoft Teams" Career consultations. Please choose a slot which is appropriate to you.
