Introducing Grace Delaney & Fabio Iacconi, two Ryanair Future Flyer Academy cadets training here at AFTA. ✈️
Did you know we offer two Ryanair Future Flyer Academy programmes at AFTA: RYR UK and RYR EU?
Both programmes offer a zero-to-hero pathway, meaning no previous flight training experience is required.
🇬🇧 RYR UK – Open to Irish and UK passport holders, with successful cadets based in the UK upon completion.
🇪🇺 RYR EU – Open to EU passport holders, with successful cadets based across Ryanair’s European network.
Successful applicants to the Ryanair Future Flyer Academy embark on an intensive 18–24 month training journey, including approximately 220 hours of flight training at Cork International Airport, followed by a Ryanair Boeing 737 Type Rating.
One of the biggest benefits? Successful candidates receive a conditional job offer from Ryanair following the ab-initio assessment, before they even begin their pilot training.
From the beginning of the programme, cadets are introduced to Ryanair’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), culture and operational philosophy, while also benefiting from one-to-one mentorship from experienced Ryanair pilots.
