First and second class enjoying Fun for all day ☀️🏃‍♂️🏑🛝🍦

Days full of fun and movement during our recent Active week. Children enjoyed activities such as dodgeball, line dancing, taekwondo, a visit to the playground and fun for all day. A great week was had by all 🎾🏑🥋🧘🏼‍♀️

Congratulations to our Second class who graduated from the Junior school yesterday. We wish them all the very best as they transition to the Senior school graduaction 🧑‍🎓👨‍🎓 🥳

It’s been a busy few weeks in the Junior School between our school tour to Smuggler‘s Cove, Well-being Week activities, science with Chuck and we even had a visit from Clodagh and Éabha‘s chicks!

Children from Junior Infants and Senior Infants have been busy collecting litter from their local area using the Picker Pals packs…well done to you all!😊

Thanks to Mr Collins for teaching 1st and 2nd class the brush dance and the junior and Senior infants a fun march today. They all had great fun learning them

Congratulations to all our boys and girls who received their First Confession today.

On Friday we celebrated World Book Day. The children dressed up as characters from their favourite books and the older pupils read to the younger children. A great day was had by all 📕

We held our Green School day of action yesterday. All the children walked to school, and took part in travel themed activities throughout the day, including a guided hedgerow walk with green schools officer Catherine Russell.🚶‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️

First and Second class have recently been learning all about China and Chinese New Year! They learned about the culture and traditions, created wonderful art work, tasted Chinese food and received fortune cookies and lucky red envelopes! 🇨🇳 🧧🥢🥠
