We are an International English Language School based in County Cork, Southern Ireland.

We provide a fun and exciting English language and activity summer camp unlike any other in Ireland. Our courses are aimed specifically at Secondary School level students aged 12 to 18 years. The curriculum is developed so as to maximise each students exposure to the English language without being too intense or daunting. Students are fully encouraged and supported no matter what their standard of

English is. Not only can we take pride in having the best English teachers from across the English speaking world but a key aspect of learning with GIL is the emphasis we place on extra- curricular activities, team building exercises and teen personal development. Activities range from swimming, sailing, horse riding, rock climbing, mountain biking, Gaelic games, cooking and Irish dancing classes. We will also provide classes in drama, speech and language, art and crafts, horse riding to name a few. Our students will be taken on cultural and historical tours and will experience the magic of Irish music and dance. We place great emphasis on communication skills, personal development and confidence building. We want students to leave with not only a better standard of English but with a higher confidence level and real sense of achievement. We hope to achieve this by working closely with each student and giving each student as much attention as possible. Above all at GIL we have a strong fun element to everything we do so the overall experience is thoroughly enjoyable. We arrange the full itinerary for the three week stay, from flight collections, providing top quality accommodation and delicious cuisine to ensuring that your time spent with Green Island Learning will be an experience never to be forgotten.
