πŸŽ‰ BComm Class of 1966, A Special Reunion!

What a wonderful occasion as the BComm class of 1966 came together, travelling from all over Ireland to be there! πŸŽ“

The day started with a walk around campus, seeing firsthand how much has changed over the years, before everyone sat down together for a lovely lunch. 🍽️

A brilliant turnout and a truly special day for all who attended. 😊

On 21 June, the Duhallow Vintage Club held a charity run in memory of Mary O'Sullivan, a valued club member who recently passed away from Parkinson's Disease. Thanks to their generous members and community, the run raised €4,000 for UCC's Parkinson's Disease Research Cluster.

This contribution will support important research at UCC focused on better understanding Parkinson’s, improving detection and diagnosis, addressing the symptoms that affect patients and their families, and developing approaches to improve care and quality of life. Thank you to the Club and to everyone who contributed for the event.

AI : Get Curious

UCC alum Conor Twomey (BSc 2008) believes we're at a turning point, one that could rival the arrival of the PC and the internet.

πŸ’¬ β€œIt shouldn’t replace your thinking. It should amplify your voice.”

In the latest issue of The Bridge, Conor shares how AI can help us work smarter, communicate better and spend less time on routine tasks, without losing the human judgement that matters most.
