The answer is simply no. Students from both an Agricultural background and those who have no experience in farming may study this subject.

Do I need to be from a farming background to do well in Agricultural Science?
No, detailed notes are provided which introduce and develop Agricultural principles in a way all students can understand. What is required is a willingness to work hard and follow direction.

What subjects will help me with this subject?
Biology and/or geography can be beneficial to the student, but not essential when studying Agricultural Science.

Is there a project in this subject?
Yes, the practical component is worth a total of 25%. The project requires visiting a farm.
