Cork City Music College Independent, Not-for-Profit Music School. Charity Number 20046057 / CHY 14265 Cork City Music College was founded in 1987.

Music Outreach CLG, trading as Cork City Music College, is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee registered in Ireland. The aim of the college was to provide a comprehensive and inclusive music education for children and adults, recognising that every student has different interests and capabilities. In 1990, the College moved to Drinan Street, and in 2016 relocated to Coláiste

Éamann Rís in Deerpark, which is now the main teaching centre and administrative headquarters. From here the Music Outreach Network was developed. This scheme provides instrumental tuition by fully qualified, experienced and vetted teachers in 13 different locations throughout Cork city and county at no extra cost to the student. Tuition is provided in a large range of instruments, theory of music, and for the Junior and Leaving Certificate Music courses. Opportunities for ensemble playing are provided in our Junior and Senior Orchestras, various wind ensembles, and singing groups.

🚨CORK CITY MUSIC COLLEGE ARE RECRUITING
Our string department is growing and we are inviting applications from violin and cello teachers for the new term starting in September 2026.

Candidates must have a relevant music qualification and teaching experience. Ability to teach an additional instrument is beneficial but not required.

We welcome teachers who are passionate about music education and who can communicate clearly, encourage students and foster a positive learning environment.

🚨CORK CITY MUSIC COLLEGE ARE RECRUITING teachers in guitar, piano, ukulele and flute to facilitate our expanding centres for our upcoming term starting in September 2026.

Candidates must have a relevant music qualification and teaching experience. Ability to teach a second instrument would be beneficial but is not necessary.

Potential candidates must be enthusiastic, a good communicator and be committed to share our love of music to all students whatever their standard, age or capability.
