✨️ Student Achievements ✨️

Huge congratulations to Kate Butler, Rang Gillian and Lois Clifford, Rang Gearóid and their team on winning the U15 CWSSL Shield Final at MTU on Saturday 8th May: Midleton 1-0 Park United AFC 🏆

Well done to Molly Dennis, Rang Lorcan, on her selection for the Cork U14 Gaynor Cup squad. Molly has had a fantastic year and we don't see her achievements stopping any time soon! Anna Twomey Blanco, Rang Iain, was also called up to represent Cork in the same team and we are exceptionally proud 👏

Our very own Matthew Whittaker, Rang Lorcan, was selected to play in the U15 Munster Hockey squad facing off against the other provinces. Its a great achievement to represent your province, well done Matthew.

Comhghairdeas to Jack Forde, Rang Iona, who won The Munster Schools mile representing CCC and his athletics club and while there are no guarantees in sport, he will be trying his best to secure a medal for the school at the All-Ireland Final on the 30th May in Tullamore, Offaly. Good luck Jack! We're all behind you!

⭐️ Erasmus Update ⭐️

Between the 12th and the 14th of May, we had Eider and Jordana visiting us from our partner school in Bilbao: Azkorri in Getxo.

They spent 3 days in our school job shadowing under their Erasmus+ project. They were learning about the Irish education system with a special focus on assessment methods, inclusion, SPHE and wellbeing.

They had an amazing time with us and we are looking forward to further cooperation between our schools.

We are very sad to say goodbye to Victor, our wonderful Foreign Language Asssistant for this academic year, who is flying back to Spain 🇪🇸

He practiced for their orals with the 6th years and was in Spanish classes with all year groups, being present as a native speaker and offering the opportunity to all our students to experience first hand real life Spanish culture in everyday school life.

The students really loved him and we will all miss him!
