Today is content creation day for me.
Not content like for socials.
In my world, content is about creating a learning experience that hits the client's goals.
I only do this after meeting key people involved in the program, to find out their needs and what behaviour change with impact means to them... we focus on what they need to DO, not what they need to learn.
This is where many trainings fail.
Each goal or objective is written as something actionable.
It's bloody hard to measure 'understanding' or 'know'.
Each session - whether delivered in person or virtually in person - has interaction, activities and real play, not role play.
It has things you can put into practice in your job or business. It has a call to action and next steps. And when part of a program, it has coaching and mentoring to help what's been learnt stick. Humans experience 'the forgetting curve' which is why many self paced generic video type courses or once off tick-box trainings do not bloody work.
So if you want a better, more impactful experience for yourself or a team at work - let's cut the crap and focus on you, not what the 'mentor' or 'coach' wants to tell or sell you π
