African Drumming Ireland was delighted to be part of The 2025 Féile na Gréine festival in Limerick took place from August 15th to 17th, celebrating emerging and experimental music across the city with a variety of events in venues such as Pharmacia, Mother Macs, and the Treaty City Brewery.

The festival featured a diverse lineup, including artists like Amanda Feery, Martian Subculture, and Autism Controller, aiming to create moments of joy and foster art and community in Limerick.

Millstreet Library was delighted to mark this special day with an inspiring African Drumming Workshop, where pupils from four classes from the local National School came together to experience the power of rhythm, culture and unity. It was a joyful celebration of Africa’s rich musical heritage and a wonderful opportunity to learn, connect and create unforgettable beats together.
