Originally established to provide training and work experience for the

unemployed of the area we have since included a range of training programmes, facilities and opportunities for work experience across a broad range of sectors from sports and recreation to sales and business. Today we want to say a very special thank you to Noreen Scanlon, who finishes up with NCE after an incredible 30 years.

During her time with us, Noreen has been a valued part of so many areas of NCE, from the laundry and reception, to looking after the flowers, working in the restaurant and finally becoming the familiar face of Cup N Cino.

For anyone who stopped by for lunch or a coffee, Noreen was always there with a warm welcome, a friendly chat and a smile. Over the years, she has gotten to know so many people who have walked through our doors and has made her mark on colleagues, customers and friends across NCE.

Thirty years is an incredible contribution, and we are very grateful for everything Noreen has brought to NCE and the memories made along the way.

From everyone at NCE, thank you for everything, Noreen. We wish you nothing but happiness and all the very best for whatever comes next.

A new road has been completed at our Farranferris campus, along with new directional markings, exit signage and a pedestrian crossing, creating a safer and more accessible route for everyone!
