We love it when our graduates collaborate as professionals!
Best of luck to BATDS grads Aoife Byrne (stage manager), Molly Foley (assistant stage manager) and Mollie Savage (audio describer) as they head off on a national tour with ‘s production of Grace, written by Jody O’Neill and directed by Niall Cleary. The show was originally produced by our own with .
All four graduates have been consistently working in various roles in the areas of production and stage management, as well as directing and performing since finishing their studies at CSM.
Grace is a play for young people and families and explores the universal themes of grief and communication.
In a wonderful example of inclusive theatre, all performances are relaxed and audio described, and contain creatively-embedded access including captions.
Break a leg to all involved!

🚨We want to wish everyone involved in ALSA Production’s MISTERMAN the very, very best for a wonderful opening night TONIGHT at Cork Arts Theatre! 🚨
The team behind this show includes so many BATDS creatives (graduates, lecturers and current students) that we are BEYOND excited to see it!!
ALSA Productions was founded by BATDS graduates Al Dalton and Sadhbh Barrett Coakley in 2016.
In the first Cork production of MISTERMAN by Enda Walsh in 25 years, they and James De Burca unite to bring this dark, dangerous and blisteringly funny tale to the stage!
Thomas is on a journey. Where did it begin? What voices does he hear? And what will they tell him to do? Inishfree might seem like a quaint Irish town, but fierce evangelist Thomas Magill knows better. Just how far will Thomas go in his quest for salvation?
MISTERMAN was first performed by Enda Walsh in a Corcadorca Theatre Company production in 1999. This revised version was produced by Landmark Productions at the Galway Arts Festival and the National Theatre, London, directed by Enda Walsh, starring Cillian Murphy.
MISTERMAN runs from 13 - 22 November
