SOMETHING VERY EXCITING IS COMING 🎭

We are SO excited to announce that this year, it’s our Drama Students’ time to shine! ✨

Every second year, we give our Musical Theatre & Drama students their moment to step into the spotlight and showcase everything they’ve been working on.

And this year… the stage belongs to our Speech & Drama students! 🎭

Our Speech & Drama students from ALL ACA locations will be coming together for something very special and we genuinely cannot wait to see it all come to life!

The Drama Department is already BUZZING with creative energy… ideas are flying, scripts are being explored and something very exciting is taking shape!

But for now… we’re keeping a few things under wraps. 🀫

Cork’s leading Parent & Me dance class is back, and we cannot wait to welcome our newest little ACA stars! ⭐️

Our gorgeous toddler dance class is specially designed for little ones 18 months – 3 years and is the perfect first step into the wonderful world of dance!

🎢 A 40-MINUTE DANCE CLASS FULL OF FUN!

Every week we have a different fun theme, bringing music, movement, imagination, dancing, action songs, props and lots of giggles to life! ✨

And the best bit… MOM, DAD OR THEIR BIG PERSON STAYS AND TAKES PART TOO! πŸ‘

Baby Bop Club is so much more than just dancing. At this age, developing coordination, balance, body awareness, rhythm and listening skills is so important for your little one’s physical development and confidence. In August, Aoibhe Lilly took to the stage with the prestigious National Youth Music Theatre NYMT (National Youth Music Theatre) in their production of The Ballad of Ragged Alice, which took place in Canterbury. 🎭✨

What an incredible opportunity and experience for Aoibhe Lilly! The amount of learning, performing experience and opportunities throughout the whole process was just fantastic.

But what makes us even more proud is the drive and passion Aoibhe Lilly came home with. ❀️ The whole experience has completely inspired her and made her even more excited to work hard, learn, grow and push herself as a performer. There is nothing better than seeing one of our students come away from an experience feeling so motivated and hungry to do more!

We are beyond excited to officially welcome the wonderful and incredibly talented Miss Alison McCormack to The ACA Performing Arts Academy.

We are absolutely over the moon to have Alison joining our already amazing team this September. Alison will be heading up our Speech & Drama Department in our Mitchelstown Studio, while also making appearances across our other ACA locations throughout the year!

We feel so lucky to have someone with Alison’s talent, experience and passion joining our staff. Not only is she an exceptionally talented performer and teacher, but she brings such warmth, kindness and enthusiasm, qualities that are at the heart of everything we do. We have no doubt our students are going to adore her!

If Alison looks familiar, it’s probably because you’ve seen her bringing the magic to life on the stage of the Cork Opera House Christmas Panto! We are incredibly excited to have someone with her wealth of experience joining the ACA team, and we know our students are going to be inspired by her.

✨ Wishing the very best of luck to the incredible cast and production team of The Sound of Music at the Cork Opera House on your opening night! ✨

We are beyond proud of our wonderful student Calum, who is taking to the stage as Friedrich. πŸ’™ Watching you grow as a performer has been such a joy, and we can’t wait to see you shine. Your dedication, hard work and passion never go unnoticed, and we are incredibly proud of everything you’ve achieved.

A huge good luck also to our beautiful friend and former ACA singing teacher, Miss Jean Elliott-Murphy , and to one of Aileen’s wonderful former pupils, ThΓ©rΓ¨se O'Sullivan . We know you’ll both be amazing, and we can’t wait to see you all up there doing what you love.

To everyone involved, both on stage and behind the scenes, we wish you an amazing run. We’re sure this is going to be an outstanding production!

And finally, thank you to the team for giving Calum the opportunity to learn, grow and be part of such a special production. Experiences like these are truly invaluable, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Huge congratulations to our student Calum!

At the beginning of July, Calum took to the stage with the prestigious National Youth Music Theatre (National Youth Music Theatre) in their production of The Ragged Child. 🎭✨

In between rehearsals for The Sound of Music, Calum still managed to fly back and forth to make it all work. His dedication, commitment, and passion for performing are truly inspiring!

The amount of learning, experience, and opportunities he gained throughout this journey has been absolutely fantastic, and we couldn’t be prouder.
