A post-graduate Ph.D.-track studentship in the Biomolecular Electronics Research
Laboratory is available, funded initially from a collaborative research award by IRCSET
via the ERA-Chemistry Open Initiative to the Laboratory and the Electroanalytical and
Sensor Laboratory in Germany http://www.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/elan/Research.html.
Programme Title:
Preparation and high-throughput screening of integrated bioelectrocatalytic redox
polymeric systems to provide a toolbox for development of electrochemical devices for
sensor and energy conversion
An honours B.Sc. in a scientific discipline, with a significant training in Chemistry and/or
Biochemistry is an essential qualification for applicants. Applicants should submit their
CV, detailing relevant experience, a personal statement, outlining reasons for their interest
