We have a great squad of young talented ballers and are always welcome to more to get on board. We welcome every bit of support we get and we would be more than happy for you to share our page.

We would like to wish all our present and past players a very happy Christmas and a happy new year. Here is our top scorer so far paddy Keyes with his slab of Heineken he received for scoring a hatrick. All hatricks are rewarded with a slab of your choice. That’s how the rovers do it. If your in the college and think you too could be a regular hatrick hero, you too could receive a slab of your choice.
HAPPY CHRISTMAS

Just decided today we would put up a picture of the team the last time a match was played. Terrible conditions have halted football in cork now for what feels like 50 years. If anyones grandfather or great grandfather is in the picture please don’t be afraid to tell us how they felt to be able to play the great game

From all here at UCC Rovers we wish our condolences to all Micky’s family and the Leeds community. We have strong connections to the club with both our Manager Johnny Cooney and head coach Danny Quinlan former Leeds AFC Cork players. Also our captain Jamie Keniry played for the club so strong connections all round. May he RIP

Thanks very much to Murphys Rock bar for the lovely food and even nicer pints we had last night on our Christmas night out. Fun is over now there is a league to be won so from tomorrow on we are all off the gargle. Happy new year from us all at the rovers.

UCC 4-0 Castleview
The Midleton magician stole the show. After been left out of the college team during the day to save him for the game Jake Mallon hit two and assisted two. The back line were solid all day against a technically good Castleview side and the midfield worked liked dogs. And Evan Dodd scored after his horror show Saturday. The subs gave us fresh legs when we tired and as a squad from 1 to 20 we got the job done. Best of luck to Castleview going forward but now we concentrate on banteer Sunday morning. Another big test for the Rovers but hopefully one we can over come. WE ARE UCC

UCC 2-0 Waterloo
The Scandinavian Viking saves the day for the Rovers. Found it very hard today in testing conditions to break down a valiant Waterloo team but we got the 3 points we move onto Tuesday night when we play Castleview in another tough match. We will give it our all.

Greenwood 1-4 UCC Rovers
Hit the crossbar 4 times in the first half but just couldn't get the rub of the green against a very hard working Greenwood side. Second half started and Conor Kav scored a peach after 19 seconds. We added a second through this penalty from keyes and then kava got his second. Greenwood scored a cracker to make it 3-1 but optimus added a 4th off the bench. Week off next week so we have 2 weeks to work on keeping a cleensheet. The rovers roll on

UCC 3-1City wanderers
The bolster opened the scoring and after city wanderers equalised he gave the greatest through ball ever seen in the farm to put Patrik Keyes one on one. Paddy doesn’t miss and when Stephen Bradfield was given the opportunity to do the same he duly obliged. We move onto the next round

Douglas Hall 2-0 UCC Rovers
Close game between 2 good sides that had the potential to be a cracker only for the atrocious weather. The team that handled the elements better ran out deserved winners and fair play to them. We move onto next week, well done to Douglas and best of luck in the next round and for the season. A fine side.
