The community of Cloughduv N.S., its staff, parent body and children would like to express our sorrow at hearing of the death of Canon Bernard Donovan.

He has been a part of our school community for many years. He has guided many children’s faith as they progressed through the school. He has celebrated First Confessions, Communions and Confirmations with us. We deeply appreciate his work at Board of Management level.

He always had kind, sincere and thoughtful messages for the children and his community.

Juniors - 2nd Class took off on their school tour this morning to Kennedys Farm 😎 They had a fantastic time 🙌🏼

We said slán to our 6th class as they graduated from primary school today. Go n-éirí an t-ádh leo 🎓

A huge thank you to Gwen from Cameron Bakery who supplied each pupil and staff with a tasty pastry this morning 🥐 a welcome mid-week treat 👌🏽

Final preparations for the school performance of The Wizard of Oz took place today 🧙‍♂️

A reminder that the evening show on Wednesday at 7pm has sold out but tickets are available for the Tuesday and Thursday’s afternoon shows at 1:30pm

Today, 3rd - 5th went to Douglas Gymnastics Club and followed onto Padel Tennis. Two great facilities and a really fun day out 🤸🏓🎾

We have a busy week of school tours as 6th went on their final school tour of their primary days to Rosscarbery yesterday. A great day out was had by all ⛅️🕶️

The boys followed up with more silverware in the evening session of Cork City Sports 🙌🏼 well done to all and thank you to the parents who helped out and supported 🏃🏽

The girls brought in fantastic results both individually and in the relay this morning at Cork City Sports in MTU 🏃‍♀️
