This month ASEM LLL Hub Chair and UCC Adult Continuing Education - ACE Director, Séamus Ó Tuama, participated in a panel discussion on "The Role of Networks in Continuing Health Education", at the HELIX Summit at the Universitat de Barcelona. The discussion offered valuable insights to the strategic role international networks can, and should, play in advancing educational initiatives that contribute to improving people’s health, well-being, and quality of life.

Productive meeting with the PH Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
Chair of ASEM LLL Hub, Séamus Ó Tuama, had a valuable meeting with CHED Commissioner Dr Ethel Agnes Pascua- V. to discuss ASEM LLL Hub and lifelong learning initiatives. Joining them were key representatives from the CHED Office of programes and Standards Development including Ms Mutya Mangubat, as well as Mr John Paul Leseaca and Mr Jonathon Quiber from the Office of the Commissioner. Together they explored ways to enhance educational frameworks and promote lifelong learning in their communities.

Dr Séamus Ó Tuama had the opportunity to meet in person with the Commissioner, Commission on Higher Education(CHED), Dr Ethel Agnes Pascua Valenzuela as part of his mission this month. Their discussions on ASEM LLL Hub and lifelong learning initiatives will be crucial for advancing education in their regions.

During his mission to Asia this month, Chair of ASEM LLL Hub, Séamus Ó Tuama is delivering key presentations on and engaging with strategic partners of the Hub. He shares insights from UCC Adult Continuing Education - ACE at University College Cork, fostering collaboration and innovation in education across Europe and Asia.
