Munster Champions
Munster Champions

Massive congratulations to our U14 schools tennis team on winning the Munster Shield yesterday in Whitechurch!

The girls put in a fantastic performance, overcoming a strong Ursulines Blackrock side to secure a 3–1 victory. This success is a well-deserved reward for their hard work and determination over the past three months, during which they’ve faced many tough battles on court.

A special mention was made by Munster Tennis at the prize-giving, praising the team for their sportsmanship, positivity, and the joy they brought to the competition — a true credit to themselves and their school.

Well done to Kate Brophy, Sarah Cronin, Laura Flynn, and Ella Power — a brilliant achievement!

2nd Years end of year trip to Ballyhass
Yesterday, our 2nd students enjoyed an exciting end-of-year trip to Ballyhass Adventure Centre - Coachford, where they took part in a wide range of outdoor and adventure activities. Although the weather was not on our side, the girls showed fantastic positivity throughout the day and made the very best of every activity on offer. From the water activity to the obstacle challenges, students displayed great enthusiasm, teamwork, and resilience while creating lasting memories with their peers.
Students also had the opportunity to test their skills in archery and axe throwing, both of which proved extremely popular and encouraged focus, determination, and friendly competition. The team-building exercises throughout the day helped strengthen friendships and promoted cooperation among the group. One of the highlights of the trip was the high net climbing frame, where students pushed themselves outside their comfort zones and demonstrated excellent courage and perseverance. Overall, the trip was a hugely enjoyable and rewarding experience for all involved and a wonderful way to celebrate the end of the school year.

Ice Cream Day for 6th Years
Our 6th year students enjoyed ice cream cones at morning break to mark the end of their 6 years at Regina Mundi College. This small celebration is a token of appreciation for the hard work, commitment and resilience shown by the Class of 2026 throughout their years with us. It was a much welcomed break for the girls in advance of their Leaving Certificate in June. We wish them all the very best in their upcoming exams and in the next chapter of their lives. Go n-éirí an t-ádh leo.
