Under 13 A Hurling Champions
It was great to have the Under 13 A hurling cup in Connolly NS today. Oisín, Conor and James were delighted to tell us about their victory. Well done to all the players and their coaches for the tremendous work. Great to have players from the school involved and past pupils as coaches. The group also won two academy Under 13 finals in recent weeks.

Well done to Ella Mc Guane who took bronze in the Community Games Regionals hurdles held in Tullamore today. She has now qualified for the All Ireland Community Games Finals in August.
Super achievement.

Can’t believe we are writing this again but our picnic bench which has been in the bog for 8 years has been stolen. Did you see anything?

Below is a picture of it. It is one unit and cannot be dismantled so would need large van/ car trailer would appreciate any leads we can get 😢

Cultural Day for Junior Room
Earlier this week the Junior Room had a literacy and cultural visit to the new Clare Library and Clare Museum in Ennis. The children couldn’t stop talking about the day.

G Twinning Day
We had our Gaeilge Twinning day with Quin N.S., Gaelscoil Mhicíl Ciosóg and CBS Ennis on Tuesday in Lee’s Road.
The children completed an orienteering task for a few hours in the woods of Lee’s Road. The children had an amazing day and spoke lots of Irish. A great initiative run by Clare Education Center. Thanks to Clare Sports Partnership for their help on the day.

Junior Room School Tour
Junior Room went to Turoe Pet Farm on their school tour during the week. The children had a great day out.

Senior Room School Tour
Senior Room had an amazing educational school tour to Killaloe Activity Center run by UL
Children did lots activities during the day; climbing wall, archery, co-operation games, kayaking and Stand Up Paddling boarding.
Amazing day and amazing weather.
We stopped for food on way home!

Invite
We are having a screening of our All Ireland winning play Só agus Anró in Connolly NS on Thursday evening at 7.30pm.
We will also have the launch of our new school half zip top.
Followed by presentation of Cumann na mBunscol Indoor medals.
We will finish off the evening with presentation of graduation certificates.
Come and join us for the screening and for a cuppa afterwards.
