VACANCY FOR AN EARLY YEARS EDUCATOR.
Catherine’s Playschool has a vacancy for an Early Years Educator to join our experienced team.
Minimum qualifications Full FETAC/QQI Level 5, or higher.
This is a term time contract in a fun loving ECCE setting.
Starting date -September 2026
20 hours per week -4 hours daily
(Mixture of mornings n afternoons).

VERY LIMITED PRESCHOOL PLACES AVAILABLE AT CATHERINE’S PLAYSCHOOL, FOR SEPTEMBER 2025.
If you have a little one born in 2021 or 2022, and you are looking for “A home from home” preschool experience, please contact me.
We operate 2 sessions per day, (morning and afternoon), 3 hours per session, and we cater for 11 children per session with two adults in the room, so ratios are very low.
At our preschool our Motto is “Learn, Laugh and Play”.

Another great year at Catherine’s Playschool, and to celebrate it we had a pyjama party with the children, where they did “jobs” at home to raise money for Cobh Tidy Towns. A cheque for €600.00 was handed over to the Tidy Towns today with a huge thank you for all their hard work keeping our town beautiful. Many thanks to all the staff, parents and especially the children for raising this great amount.

Many thanks to Maura (Maura O Reilly) for once again knitting a Christmas stocking for each of the children in preschool. Maura retired last June, but still pops in to see us. Many thanks Maura x
