St Joseph’s N.S. Donard St. Joseph’s N.S., Donard, Poulpeasty is a catholic co-educational primary school which caters for pupils from Infants to 6th class. Joseph’s N.S.

The school was built in 1949 and many extensions have since been added. pupils are blessed with fantastic wheelchair accessible facilities. All classrooms are spacious and contain an interactive whiteboard. There is a large playing pitch and basketball court outside. The hall is located in the centre of the school and is used for P.E. and school gatherings such as concerts, assemblies, presentatio

ns, talks and prayer services. Our school is a happy and nurturing school which draws on the skills and talents of our pupils, parents, staff and local community. We provide a holistic education for our pupils. We strive to provide a safe, secure environment for pupils which allows them to grow and flourish at their own pace. We participate in a range of child led activities and initiatives, to guide and stimulate the pupils and their learning. Care is also taken to ensure that the well-being and happiness of each pupil is catered for. School begins at 9.00am and we offer before school supervision from 8:45am. Parents can also avail of 1.40pm – 2.40pm supervision for Infants.
