Cosby National School Cosby N.S. is a two teacher school situated in the Co.Laois town of Stradbally. It first opened in 1872. We have 26 pupils on roll this year.

A massive congratulations to all our boys and girls from junior infants right up to sixth class, who took part in this year’s school panto “Robin and the Sherwood Hoodies.”This year the play was funded by The Creative Clusters and took place in the Dunamaise ArtsTheatre. We would like to sincerely thank all our parents and family members for coming out to support the children and for donating so generously towards the raffle held at the end of the performance. Also a huge thank you to the local businesses who also donated amazing prizes : Stradbally Pharmacy , SuperValu Stradbally , Ballykilcavan Brewery, Hardings Butchers, Ballintubbert Garden Festival, Mueller and O’Connell Bakery, The BayTree, Fifty Seven Boutique and WR Shaw Trailers

Thank you to our amazing parents for making our school look so spooky for Halloween. Thank you to Sarah Carter for decorating the trees at the front of the school and to Elna Eldo for providing the amazing balloon art in our reception area.
