Hi Everyone, I've made the sad decision after 18+ years (most of those here in Ellistown) that I won't be reopening. I've cared for some wonderful families and met amazing fellow Childminders along the way, some of which have become lovely friends. Thank you all for your support over the years. It's been a huge privilege to care for so many fantastic kids and be a small part of their lives. I'll miss them all 🥰 A huge thank you too to everyone in CMI & KCCC for everything. Childminding Ireland is currently running the Childminding in Ireland Survey 2021 and we need to hear from you! This year we are pleased to be extending our survey to capture the views of parents using childminding services as well as those of childminders and nannies.

So that we can offer the best possible support to you if you are working in home-based childcare, we wish to gain insights in to the experiences, practices and ideas relating to all things childminding. We also want to hear about your concerns and challenges. These findings will us to improve our service for childminders and parents, and also ensure that decision makers are informed of your views.

Hey everyone. Unfortunately I will be closed for the foreseeable future. It will probably be for at least the next three months. I've had many queries recently but I can't promise anyone when I will be open again. For anyone needing a Childminder:

Please call Childminding Ireland for their list of local Childminders. They have more Cm's on their books than are advertised on their website. Also check out their website, childminding.ie, for information on what to ask when looking for a Childminder.

The local Kildare County Council Childcare Committee may be able to help in your search too. Rollercoaster.ie and mindme.ie also have adverts for Childminders.

I'll still be able to answer any messages to this page and I hope to reopen as soon as possible 🤞 Best of luck in your search.
