🍂 Autumn Fun at Busy Bees Clonmel! 🦔

Last week was full of fun, creativity and learning!

Our preschoolers enjoyed learning all about hedgehogs and hibernation. They made a lovely cosy bed for Harry the Hedgehog, making sure he had plenty of soft leaves and food to keep him comfortable throughout the winter.

We also got creative with autumn activities, making autumn soup and painting pine cones and leaves.

🚦 As part of Beep Beep Day, we explored the importance of road safety. Everyone put on their high-visibility jackets and headed out for a walk, practising how to cross safely at a zebra crossing while holding hands.

To finish off a busy week, our little helpers had great fun decorating our setting for Halloween! 🎃

A wonderful week of learning through play, teamwork and creativity! 🍁

Road Safety Fun at Busy Bees Presentation! 🚦

Last week, we continued exploring our theme of Community Helpers and celebrated National Beep Beep Day!

We were delighted to welcome Alan, our local lollipop man, who spoke to our preschoolers about the importance of road safety and crossing the road safely.

Everyone had a great time practising safe road crossing and learning how to stay safe near busy roads.

To finish off, each preschooler received a certificate for their fantastic work!

A big thank you to Alan for taking the time to visit us and for helping to keep everyone safe each morning! ❤️

🚦 Road Safety Week at Busy Bees Baunreagh! 🚓

Last week, our preschoolers in Baunreagh had a fantastic time learning all about road and car safety in celebration of National Beep Beep Day!

We were delighted to welcome Garda Eoin Philpott, who spoke to everyone about staying safe on the roads.

Garda Eoin kindly brought along high-visibility jackets and torches, and everyone was very excited to explore the Garda car!

It was a wonderful opportunity for our preschoolers to share everything they had been learning throughout the week.

A big thank you to Garda Eoin for taking the time to visit us and making the experience so enjoyable and educational! 💛

Happy Friday everyone! 😊

This week at Busy Bees Lisronagh our theme was Road Safety Week 🚦 We read a different book each day from our Simon and Friends series, published by the RSA, with each book teaching us an important road safety lesson. We learned about holding a grown-up’s hand, using zebra crossings, and remembering to Stop, Look and Listen. We also learned our hand-holding song and each child received their own high-visibility jacket to bring home, helping us to stay safe and be seen! 🦺

We put our learning into practice outdoors, explored what the different traffic light colours mean, played our traffic lights game, taking turns holding up the colours for our friends to stop and go, and even made our own traffic lights using paper collage. 🎨

We also enjoyed painting more autumn leaves and bees to brighten up our classroom, having fun on the wobble bikes, and building tall towers with our large connector blocks. 🍂🐝🚲

Have a lovely weekend, everyone! 💛

Last week in Busy Bees Rathkeevin, we were delighted to welcome some special visitors as part of our learning about people in our community.

Mark from the Post Office came in to teach the children all about how the post works, and Hughie from Glenpatrick told us all about how a factory works and how bottled water is made.

The children were so engaged and loved meeting our special guests and learning more about the world around them!

Last week, we had an exciting visit from two paramedics, Amy, who is Sofia’s mam from Nanos, and her colleague Eimear.

The children got to explore the ambulance, sit in the driver’s seat and ask lots of questions about the important work paramedics do. It tied in perfectly with our Community Helpers theme.
A big thank you to Amy and Eimear for taking the time to visit us! ❤️
