AOK-DANCE AOK-DANCE. Irish Contemporary ballet school, based in Clonmel. AOK-DANCE is an Irish Contemporary ballet school, based in Clonmel, Ireland.

Aoife started her dance training in Clonmel, before continuing her studies at Firkin Crane, Cork, under Alan Foley, director at Cork City Ballet. She regularly performed at Firkin Crane, as well as the Cork City Opera House, and Green Glens Arena. Aoife then moved to London to continue her studies, where she was accepted for postgraduate studies in dance at the world famous Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, in Greenwich, London, graduating in 2004. In London, Aoife performed in prestigious venues such as the acclaimed Bonnie Bird Theatre, and the Tate Modern Gallery, as well as performing at Wembley Stadium. As a performer, Aoife toured the UK and Europe, where a lot of her own choreography was also performed. She was heavily involved in the world of colourguard and winterguard, and performed at the highest level in Europe, as well as competing and choreographing in the world championships in the USA. Aoife has remained in demand as a teacher and choreographer, and has taught with and written for various groups throughout the UK, and set up her own company AOK-Dance. She has taught dance at the University of Sussex in Brighton. She also ran a series of successful dance camps in London and various cities along the south coast of the UK, working with various age-groups, as well as teaching dance for children with special needs. Aoife has also taught for a number of groups in Ireland.

Wow! Huge congratulations to Kate & Nylah from AOK-DANCE, who not only came 1st with their contemporary duo "Force", but they also came away with the award for the highest scoring group/duo/trio of the entire weekend across all styles of dance. A super achievement, take a bow girls. 👌 ###

A small number of AOK-DANCE students competed at the ADC contest in Cork over the weekend, with solos, duos & trios only. A brilliant weekend, fabulous memories made, and some super results. And couldn't be prouder, as all of these students have qualified for the ADC Finals next year, we can't wait. 👌

We had a great weekend at the ADC contest in Cork, with solos, duos & trios only from AOK-DANCE students. A super weekend with a high standard, filled with lovely memories together. Every student did fantastic, and performed superbly. And some super results. Only 1st - 3rd place results announced at the event, so a great achievement to place top 3 in so many categories. Everything's AOK! 👌

🥉 Lily Mae - Teen ballet solo: 3rd place

🥉 Lily Mae & Sophie - Teen lyrical duo: 3rd place

And amazingly, Kate & Nylah also got the highest scoring group/duo/trio of the weekend in all styles of dance.

Kyle, it has been my absolute pleasure teaching you. Watching you grow into the incredibly talented dancer you are today has been an honour. Dancing is definitely in your blood.

Thank you for your endless loyalty and support that you have not only shown to me, but also to all the students at AOK-DANCE.

We are all going to miss you, but now it's your time to follow your dreams, work hard, and sparkle like the star you are. I couldn't be prouder of everything you have achieved so far, and everything that is still to come. 🫶
