Tumbletots Playschool Clerihan have a small number of places available for the new school year commencing September 2024.

Tumbletots is a sessional service from 9 to 12 Monday to Friday, 38 weeks a year.

We run a play based curriculum and we provide a warm and nurturing environment for children as they prepare for Primary School.

To qualify for these free ECCE places your child must be have been born in 2020 or 2021.

Great fun in Tumbletots this week with "Decky" who a coach with Clerihan GAA. He came to teach the children basic skills and that it is fun to exercise 🤸‍♂️👟🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️

We have had great fun here in Tumbletots over the last few weeks. We did arts and crafts for St. Patrick's Day and Mother's Day. We did some gardening and set Sunflower 🌻 seeds... We held a Teddy 🧸 Bear Picnic in aid of MND and raised €195 for this amazing cause. We would like to thank all the children and their families for their generous donations.
We did arts and crafts for Easter 🐣 had great fun hunting for Easter 🐣 Eggs 🥚 🪺, which the Easter Bunny 🐰 🐇 left for us...

We had a great time in Tumbletots today. All the children enjoyed their Halloween 🎃 👻Trick or Treat Party for Temple Street. We would like to thank the children for their generous donations. We raised €167 for Temple Street.. Well done everyone 👏

All the children have settled back onicely into the routine of playschool over the last few weeks 🥰🥰
We have been very busy doing our Nature Table, learning all about Autumn 🍂 🍂 We even created our Own Worm 🪱 World . This was a big hit with the children, they really enjoyed watching the activities of the worms 🪱 every day !!
We also celebrated Beep Beep Week 🚦🚦🛻🚲 and learned all about Road Safety...
Lots more fun and activities happening over the next few weeks getting ready for Halloween 🎃 👻 🎃 👻

As class of 2022 have graduated playschool this week we would just like to say a huge thanks to all the parents, families, staff and of course the children for a very special and enjoyable year 👨‍🎓👩‍🎓🎉🎊🥳 We have met wonderful children this year who will no doubt really enjoy big school come September !!

To sign off a great year, We recently held a fundraiser for Motor Neurone Disease where we played lots of fun games, danced and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine and ate lots of food. We managed to raise €191 which we are absolutely over the moon about!! 🎊🎊

We have had a very busy week with the good weather where we got to play lots of fun games outside ☀️🎾

We even had a local GAA coach visit us where we played lots of GAA games and drills and we really enjoyed the different activities. We have no doubt there is future TIpperary players here in Tumbletots !! 🏐🏑

It was also great to see the Easter bunny arrived to all the children over the holidays. We are sure there was lots of chocolate enjoyed !! 🍫🐣

Many thanks to Tipperary Childcare Committe and Tipperary Sports Partnership for choosing our Playschool and giving us this great opportunity to use the Balance Bikes. 😁🚴‍♂️🚲💕

We have had a very productive few weeks since coming back to Tumbletots this recent term 🥰💕
Below you will you see pictures from ‘Beep Beep Week’ where we had lots of fun learning about the importance of road safety and how important it is to ‘Stop, Look and Listen’ when crossing any road✋👀👂
We also had a very fun and productive week as all the children prepared for one of our favourite times of the year. Halloween!! 💀👻🎃 We had a very fun Halloween party and made lots of scary spooky decorations throughout the week 👻🎃
