Congratulations to all our pupils who received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion last Saturday. The children were fantastic on the day and made us all very proud. A sincere thank you to Mrs Brennan and Ms McEvoy for preparing the children so well for this special occasion.
Well done to our pupils who were part of the choir and sang so beautifully on the day. We would also like to thank Fr Kieran for making the day so meaningful and memorable. Thank you to Catherine Burke for providing the music and to the parents who generously provided refreshments in the hall.
Congratulations also to the children from Eyrecourt NS. It was lovely to share this special occasion with them.

Our Junior Infant Induction Day will take place on Friday, 15th May at 1:30pm.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our new Junior Infants and their parents to visit the school, meet the teachers, and learn more about the wide range of activities and experiences on offer at Clonfert NS.

We had a fantastic Green Day on Friday to celebrate St Patrick’s Day.
We also held a whole-school assembly where each class shared the great work they have been doing in their classrooms. Each class performed songs or poems in Irish as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge.

Congratulations to our students who made their Confirmation on Wednesday. They prepared so well for the day and we are very proud of them.
Thank you to their teachers, Mrs Davoren and Mrs Hyland, for all their hard work and preparation over the past few months. We also extend our thanks to Fr Kieran and Bishop Michael for helping to make the ceremony so special.
Well done also to the children who sang so beautifully in the choir on the day. They enjoyed a treat from Ms Kilmartin at Duffy’s Shop before heading back to school.
We hope everyone had a wonderful day celebrating this important occasion, and we also congratulate the students from Eyrecourt NS who made their Confirmation too.
