Breast Cancer Ireland – 2km a Day in October
Our wonderful secretary, Jacinta, is taking part in the Breast Cancer Ireland 2km a Day Challenge throughout October.
As part of our upcoming Wellbeing Wednesdays, which are starting this month, the children at school will be giving Jacinta a helping hand by joining her for some of the kilometres along our school walkway.
It’s a lovely opportunity for our school community to come together, get active, and support such an important cause.

A great day out today at Ballinasloe Rugby Club for the 3rd and 4th class blitz. Our boys showed great teamwork and sportsmanship and did us very proud🏈🏈🏈🙂🙂

Congratulations to all our pupils who received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion last Saturday. The children were fantastic on the day and made us all very proud. A sincere thank you to Mrs Brennan and Ms McEvoy for preparing the children so well for this special occasion.
Well done to our pupils who were part of the choir and sang so beautifully on the day. We would also like to thank Fr Kieran for making the day so meaningful and memorable. Thank you to Catherine Burke for providing the music and to the parents who generously provided refreshments in the hall.
Congratulations also to the children from Eyrecourt NS. It was lovely to share this special occasion with them.

Clonfert NS Bake Sale – This Sunday!
Clonfert NS Parents’ Association are holding a Bake Sale this Sunday, 17th May in Clonfert Hall, right after the 10am Mass.
There will be lots of tasty treats – so come along, enjoy some goodies, and support our school!

Our Junior Infant Induction Day will take place on Friday, 15th May at 1:30pm.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our new Junior Infants and their parents to visit the school, meet the teachers, and learn more about the wide range of activities and experiences on offer at Clonfert NS.

We had a fantastic Green Day on Friday to celebrate St Patrick’s Day.
We also held a whole-school assembly where each class shared the great work they have been doing in their classrooms. Each class performed songs or poems in Irish as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge.
